InnerSource is the study of Open Source development techniques and how they can be applied to any type of development work. The InnerSource Commons was created in 2015 to develop a community of practitioners studying and teaching this information. It has hosted conferences around the world, published multiple books, and fostered InnerSource programs in the smallest of startups to the largest multi-national companies in the world.
